We count ourselves lucky to have found Elizabeth Medici as a piano teacher for our son Zak. After searching on the internet, we chose to call Ms. Medici not only because she was highly experienced and well connected as the president of the Music Teacher's Association. We knew that Zak wasn't the easiest of students. He's shy, skittish, and extremely distractible; also, before starting with Ms. Medici, he had studied very little theory and played mostly by ear. Ms. Medici adapted to his personality quirks and was able to keep him on task in a gentle, generous way that was always perfect for Zak's needs. After only a year and a half with Ms. Medici, Zak was earning highest honors in the Royal Conservatory's Music Development Program. Much to our surprise, Zak asked if he could try out piano competitions. Anyone who knows Ms. Medici can see that she's incredibly organized and thoughtful when she designs the curriculum for her students. Ms. Medici carefully chose Zak's repertoire and competition schedule, molded his performances, and attended every one of his events, even when it meant driving for hours to get to them. With Ms. Medici's help, Zak did better and better in each competition, until he actually began to win. When a change of jobs forced us to move away at the beginning of 2016, we chose to continue lessons with Ms. Medici over the internet using Skype and Facetime. Ms. Medici helped to make these long-distance lessons run smoothly. But because Ms. Medici was always looking out for the best opportunities for Zak, she recommended that he apply to the highly competitive San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College program. Zak got in by auditioning with the pieces Ms. Medici had helped him prepare. Now at age 13, Zak is a “piano major” studying with college professors at the Conservatory. Sadly, this means that we now must end our lessons with Ms. Medici, but none of this would have been possible for our son without her expertise and generosity of spirit. She has even offered to mentor Zak in the years to come. Thank you for everything, Ms. Medici!

 Sincerely,
Nick Mustille (Zak's dad)

All of us like to use this chance to express our gratitude to you! Thank you so much! You have been a wonderful teacher to both Jay and Hans for the past 7 years. Your kindness, dedication and the tolerance (especially last couple years) really meant a lot to all of us. Without you, none of them would go this far!

Thank you again! And wish you and your family the best!

" Thank You For The Medici Music Studio!! We Love You For Teaching Piano and May God Bless You and Your Family!!! "  ~ The Wescotts

All of our three kids learned piano from Mrs.Medici. My family greatly appreciates Mrs.Medici's teaching. She helped to cultivate a love for music in my kids, by teaching in a way that made music fun to learn.

Our four children have taken music and piano lessons for the last 20 years and have had several teachers along the way.   Mrs. Elizabeth Medici has been a wonderful instructor for our children.   We value her competency not only as a highly qualified piano instructor, but also having the ability to encourage our children to customize their individual style of music. She challenges them, but treats them respectfully and with gentleness.
